Our product of the month focuses on a line system from the agricultural machinery sector. The installation spaces of agricultural machinery are usually very limited. The installed parts must integrate perfectly, harmonize with each other and still remain manageable and functional. So-called bolt-on chains are often used as standard, which are not only complex to install, but also pose an increased risk of leakage. The screw chains are clearly visible in our before model. However, if you look at the after model, the advantages become clear.

The component has a much more compact design and is much easier to install. Instead of the previous 12 components, only one component needs to be screwed together after technical optimization. This in turn significantly reduces the assembly effort and therefore also the costs for procurement, warehousing and scheduling. Field failures due to leaks are significantly reduced.

This comprehensive approach, which optimizes assembly, installation space and costs, leads to a sustainable improvement in the total cost of ownership of the hydraulic line system. This technical product optimization also represents a significant step towards machine efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
