Special fitting for construction machinery

Hydraulic components are essential for construction machinery to lift heavy loads, move components or operate tools. They are therefore the heart of the machines and are responsible for distributing and collecting the hydraulic oil. They must be particularly robust and reliable in order to withstand the extreme conditions on construction sites.

Our product of the month presents a customized solution with various connections that is used in a construction machine.

Special fitting saves space and weight

The before picture clearly shows that the original hydraulic manifold solution consists of many individual components. The 7 circled connection points have to be connected individually during the assembly process. This not only increases the assembly time, but is also prone to errors and involves an increased risk of leakage. In addition, the component is relatively large and takes up an unnecessary amount of space in the machine installation area.

 

The solution developed by Dietzel Hydraulik at (pictured right) eliminates all these disadvantages. The more compact solution saves space in the installation room, is significantly lighter with a weight saving of 45% compared to the screw connection chain and enables easier assembly. The previous screw fittings have been replaced. Only one component needs to be procured, stored, planned and installed, which optimizes the total cost of ownership.
